Where civil society, social startups and changemakers connect, grow and build
Action Network Worldwide is a global community of organizations and practitioners, sharing the connections, hands-on learning, funding access and tools to take an initiative from first idea to lasting impact.
We believe development should be self-determined. We envision a world where everyone has access to the tools to improve their community, on their own terms. After more than ten years of international project work, we built the network and tools we kept missing. Power to the People.

Frequently Asked Questions
Action Network Worldwide is a platform for social-profit organizations and practitioners to exchange opportunities, coordinate learning, match resources, and collaborate across borders. It strengthens locally led initiatives by enabling people who operate across contexts.
Action Network Worldwide combines AI-powered matching, an opportunity marketplace, cross-organization workspaces, and transparent carbon accounting — all purpose-built for social-profit collaboration. No ads, no profiling, explainable algorithms, and data belongs to users.
Action Network Worldwide serves individual professionals and changemakers in sustainable development and social justice, social-profit organizations (NGOs, CSOs, community groups), and networks or federations coordinating member organizations. It is especially designed for international students and alumni from the Global South connected to their home regions.
Action Network Worldwide provides AI-powered matching using explicit profile data (not behavioral tracking), workspace collaboration tools for cross-organization projects, automatic opportunity discovery from multiple sources with trust signals, and a privacy-first design with full user control over data.
Action Network Worldwide has three tiers: Free (browse and connect), Solo (opportunity marketplace, wiki spaces, AI integrations), and Org (workspaces, funding intelligence, project tracking, AI tools). Solo and Org plans include a free trial. Pricing is country-tiered — check the pricing page for your location.
Yes. The Free tier lets you browse the network, view profiles, create your own profile, and connect with others. Solo and Org plans (which unlock the opportunity marketplace, workspaces, and other tools) include a free trial.
For years, this work depended on grants and project funding. That kept it going, but it's no way to run a platform people rely on every day: funding runs out, priorities shift, and every funder brings an agenda of its own. So the platform pays for itself. The community stays free for everyone, and the paid plans cover what it costs to run and develop the tools. That keeps us independent: we build what members need, not what a funder happens to fund. NGOs and mission-driven startups pay a reduced rate.
Signing up gives you AI-powered matching to discover relevant connections, access to a curated opportunity marketplace, workspace tools for cross-organization collaboration, and connection to a global network focused on locally led impact.
Action Network Worldwide strengthens locally led social and environmental initiatives by enabling people who operate across contexts. The platform is governed by self-determination (communities define priorities), transparent methodology (documented, reproducible methods), and privacy-first data stewardship (user data belongs to the user).
No. Matching uses only profile data you explicitly provide, not inferred behavior. Analytics are self-hosted, aggregate-level, and never store user identity or IP addresses. You can opt out entirely through account settings.
