What's new in September: both apps live, a funders directory, and shared files

September's update: the NGOstack apps are finally out on both the App Store and Google Play, plus a funders directory, a shared file library for organisations, per-page wiki privacy, and free months for referrals.

September was a big month. Here's what landed.

Both apps are live. This is the one we've been waiting on: NGOstack is now on the App Store and on Google Play, both stores, properly released after a long stretch in beta. The desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux is there too, so Action Network Worldwide now runs wherever you work. Get the apps from our https://actionnetwork.world/downloads page.

A funders directory. Behind every funding call is an organisation that funds things repeatedly. You can now see who that is, follow the funders whose work overlaps with yours, and be told when they publish something new — so a call stops being a one-off you either catch or miss.

A shared file library for organisations. One place for the documents a whole team needs: organise them, share them with named colleagues, or connect your own S3 or WebDAV storage if you'd rather keep the files on infrastructure you control. How it works

Free months for referrals. If you introduce someone and they become a paying member, you both get free months. No codes to enter and nothing to claim — it's tied to your own link.

Per-page privacy in wiki spaces. You can open a page to your whole space or keep it to yourself, and publishing it as a public link is now a separate decision from either of those. Three different questions, answered separately, which is how people actually use a wiki. How it works

Faster filtering of funding calls. One-click filters for type, your country, and calls closing soon, with funder type, distance and "apply any time" available under Filters. Finding opportunities

Calendar and reminders. Events and dated opportunities can go straight into your own calendar, and anything you save can remind you before the deadline. Notification settings

Come to a live session

We run a portal update and open Q&A every other Thursday at 13:00 Berlin time — 45 minutes, online, free, and open to anyone. Next on 15 and 29 October, with slides shared afterwards. It's the fastest way to see where this is going and to push back on it. Save your place

If you're new here

Action Network Worldwide is the platform small and mid-sized organisations use to find funding, run projects and work with each other. Every feature above has a step-by-step guide at docs.actionnetwork.world, and the plans page explains what the free tier covers before you sign up.
